Top Spray is a trained and certified installer of all Filtrexx BMPs. The Filtrexx Certified™ program is an Installer training program designed to ensure both proper installation of Filtrexx products as well as the proper evaluation of the site in order to determine the best course of action. This reduces the number one failure of any BMP, improper installation. The Filtrexx Certified™ program is an annually renewed program based on both one-on-one training with the installer as well as an annual Certification Meeting with all Installers present.

Material Testing   
Filtrexx FilterMedia™ is a manufactured compost material specifically designed to optimize both Flow Through Rate and Filtration Ability. This compost material is tested under conditions to simulate those found in the field. Unlike other tests done with clear water only, these tests are done with "dirty water" to determine sediment removal, TSS removal, nutrient removal, and hydrocarbon removal in the form of motor oil. In this way, more accurate results can be determined for on site performance.

The Testing Process   
1. Compost Sampled according to TMECC guidelines
2. Samples sent to CAP certified Lab
3. A battery of tests are performed on the Compost
4. Test results are sent to three independent organizations. They are sent to the Compost Council of Canada for Compost Quality Alliance requirements, Filtrexx International, and Rexius.
5. The test results are then compared to specifications for its intended use and may or may not be certified by Rexius and Filtrexx.
